Custard creams are a classic British biscuit (aka cookie) which I was lucky enough to grow up with here too. They aren't available everywhere though and in Aus they've been discontinued so this homemade recipe is just what we all need. A buttery, sweet vanilla biscuit with a vanilla, custard flavoured creamy filling, they're a scrumptious treat.
