Hello Reader 😊! Are you in the middle of planning your Thanksgiving menu? Well, I have a bunch of side dishes that are comforting and delicious that are sure to have everyone asking for more. Here are some of my favourites.

1. Creamy Garlic Mushrooms​

These flavourful creamy garlic mushrooms taste amazing and are so easy. You’ll want to serve them with everything from steak to a crusty baguette!

2. Roasted Crunchy Potatoes​

Perfect roasted potatoes - fluffy on the inside, crunchy on the outside. This post has all the tips you need.

3. Cheesy Potato Bake​

This creamy cheesy potato bake is a favourite on SSM - meltingly tender, creamy scalloped potatoes in a comforting bacon, thyme and cheese sauce.

4. Lemon Garlic Green Beans​

These lemon garlic green beans are so tasty and easy to make too. This fast and flavourful recipe is the perfect side dish.

5. Bacon and Potato Tart​

What could be better than creamy bacony scalloped potatoes inside a flaky buttery pie crust. It's scrumptious!

6. Potato Wedges with Rosemary​

As a side or an appetizer, these rosemary potato wedges are delicious and will disappear quickly.

7. Pumpkin Mac n Cheese​

Creamy and super comforting, this mac n cheese has the added twist of pumpkin. It adds a slight pumpkiny flavour and sweetness to this classic side.

8. Maple Roasted Carrots​

Oven roasted baby carrots smothered in a sweet and sticky maple glaze with a kick of wholegrain mustard are easy, delicious and totally addictive.

9. Garlic Dinner Rolls​

These garlic dinner rolls are soft, fluffy, golden and so delicious. Topped with parmesan and slathered in garlic butter they’re perfect straight from the oven.

10. Hasselback Potato Gratin​

More delicious potatoes in a creamy sauce - these hasselback potatoes look stunning too!

11. Roasted Shallots​

These gorgeous caramelised roasted shallots are sweet and meltingly tender. Incredibly easy to make, they’re also a very special side dish.

12. Hasselback Butternut Squash​

Hasselback butternut squash, with it’s maple-balsamic glaze is easy to make but very impressive. Perfect for your holiday meal or a weekend roast, this soft roasted butternut is topped with pangrattato and crispy sage leaves.
